About This Content
Our Children are our heirs. Even our animals in the wilderness are their heritage once we are gone. The so-called developed countries beat us in imparting their values into their Children who make a big chunk of the population all over the world. Therefore, as a People, we need to impart our values to our Children in order to avoid being mentally colonised forever. That is why you don’t see, for example, Western or Asian youths copying anything from our youths who copy from others. We, therefore, have the emancipatory responsibility of protecting both our values and resources so that the coming generations can benefit from and enjoy what we are enjoying today. This book aims at showing Children the importance of wildlife and the way we depend on each other. However, humans need animals more than animals need humans. It is upon parents, society, and nations to inculcate this knowledge to the Children so that they can respect, protect, love, and value animals for their bright future.
